Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority vote.
